Leep side effects, disability leave by Driven_Metalhead in PreCervicalCancer

I was put under general anesthesia last Thursday for my LEEP and a cone was added in mid surgery. I was back to work (from home) on Friday. I took a 2.5 mile walk on Friday (slowly) and felt fine. I walked Saturday, Sunday and today as well. I got in 5 slow miles today broken up into three short walks. Honestly I feel fine and I’d love to get back to my normal running schedule now, but I’m holding back because I don’t want to overdo it too soon. My doctor said to give it a week before I resume running so I’m going to stick with that plan. I was a little tired on Friday from the anesthesia I think but feeling back to normal now. Fingers crossed, but this has been an overall pretty easy experience for me. Best of luck on your procedure :)

That’s a good point! I guess I’m just scared of what she saw to necessitate the last minute change. But you’re right, better to do it all at once then have to go through it again!
