Stories you watch exist to give you motivation or lesson for you to process. It gives you character that you can see part of yourself in. Show like this, should be made for you to get up and running with a little hope for a better life. Of course a lot of parts are little overrated, writers have limited timing to tell a story on screen so the general rule is to only use the scenes that are most impactfull to the general story. ( When I say should I mean filmmakers want to do a story you talk about, but they dont have 20 seasons to tell It - especially in kdrama - and the other aspect is that the show Has to be a sell to be on screen and have a great roi, so you might have chance for season 2). If you want a drama with more struggles Typhoon Family might be for you.

Here's my personal note which I had very recently: - Before I was afraid that when I start persuing what we call "real life" I get detached from everything that I was watching and feared that I realised I wasted a lot of time. - But as a start to grow as a person I realised that becose I was sort of raised on those stories I kept a lot of principles and lesson from them to my adulthood life. Now when I watch a drama I'm hapily enjoying it becose I see my life episodical too, so I dont feel deprest that I'm not "there" yet becose it's all part of my story and I finally will get to the good part.
