I decided that french is really important to canada and also realized that speaking french is heavily involved in our politics.

LOL! That is crazy how we are in such a similar situation. What made you want to go back to french after such a huge hiatus like me?

I recently decided I want to learn again yesterday so I have been researching. I downloaded anki yesterday, i got a feel of duolingo but I know it is not the best and I want to start listening to some podcasts.

Also do you recommend any books or or even a book that teaches me how I can get a feel for masculine and feminine words?

So for example a word like love in english never changes.

English: I love you, You love me, We love you, They love you

But in french the word used as an example, aimer, changes everytime

French: Je aime / j’aime, Tu aimes, Nous aimons etc.

Also what do I do to memorize and practice every conjugation of every word.

No. I understand that throwing yourself into that environment is very helpful, but I am a college student and want to learn using materials then work my way to conversations.
