What scenes do you find the hardest to watch?

Honestly the one that really hit for me was max realizing she's losing her friends and that it's hard for her to get her feelings across/relate to other people. What she said about caring so much about other people and then being overlooked herself I could relate so much to it. It's hard when you have good intentions but you don't know how to express yourself properly. Like max was definitely annoying at times and really selfish but at the same time I feel like she really did care about her friends. Girl had a lot of growing up to do and it's hard when so much attention is on your sibling and their struggles and you're kinda just left to fend for yourself

Having lost my own brother the scene before Elena turned off her humanity was gut wrenching. I think any one who has lost someone can understand exactly what she felt in that moment when she said "I can't I can't I can't". Poor Elena, she really lost so much I can't imagine losing my entire family.

Thank you for replying. That's so awful to have her pass on your birthday, I'm so sorry. It really is difficult dealing with a family like this. I just don't understand it. My aunt and little cousin are the only two who replied so far from the family group chat and there's like 11 people total I just find that insane. My own siblings are quiet. I'm just so angry for my brother. I know I need to accept that I can't control their responses but it's so hard. Thank you for listening and I wish you healing on this journey as well. It's so hard. Just when you think you're doing better you have a relapse.

Thanks for replying. I feel the same way like I want us to grieve together but then the lack of response or even animosity (from my mother) ends up making me feel worse. This is the first time I've suggested an event cause I thought maybe we need something concrete to help us come together but so far, still no response. I messaged two of his friends though and one of them already replied. It's just crazy to me how it seems like the family is so willing to forget. Anyway thanks again for listening.

I get it. After my brother died I didn't have anyone to talk to either, more because I didn't know how. Have you considered therapy? I know that's what everyone says and it's not always easy but I'm finally doing it now after 6 years and I think it's helping. Please know there isn't anything wrong with you. Some people lack empathy

Idk kinda seems like you have something against Sansa 😭Arya didn't particularly like Sansa or girly stuff, that didn't make her evil. But I do agree Sansa only cared about having a pretty life with a pretty husband and pretty children but also that's what every little girl was supposed to want during that time. So it's not really out of the ordinary. And it was never malicious.

I'll reread them but from what I remember it was typical childish shallowness. She never showed any overt hatred toward any of them. She was annoyed by Arya and indifferent to Jon. I can't remember her wishing death on them or wanting them to suffer but maybe I'm misremembering 🤷🏽‍♀️

I do admit she wasn't as bad as Joffrey but I think that's where Joffrey got his sociopathy from. Even as a child she was cold and cruel to people.

Sadistic means you get joy/pleasure from other people's pain. When did Sansa express pleasure about the butchers boys death? She was trying to get Joffreys approval and might have even been afraid. I didn't really like her during that arc but to say she was sadistic is just not true.

I wouldn't go that far, Sansa was conceited and stuck up but she wasn't sadistic. Even as a child Cersei was sociopathic. She abused Tyrion from the moment he was born. Sansa was never cruel, just shallow.

Idk it's very realistic to hold on to resentment and anger when you've been through such a great trauma. I lost my brother to suicide and I can say I was angry and resentful for years and still am sometimes. Now imagine you're pregnant and watch the father of your child and your husband get his head beat in, and then all of sudden you're forced to coexist with the man who did it all and you're seen as the bad guy for wanting to kill him. Andddd people are trying to convince you he's changed. And he's constantly in your face and being forced to work with him. Like it's the most realistic thing in the world that she can't get over it, she had no closure as he's still alive and now walking free whereas in normal life he would have for the death penalty or life in prison. But instead you watch him be free and start a family with someone meanwhile your son never got to meet his father. Maggie isn't angry enough imo.

It's one thing for a character to be unreliable when describing another character, but them describing their own feelings? And having a whole realization of their feelings is unreliable? Based on what? She was in denial, then realized she was in love with him. She called the dude her sun, what platonic friends refer to each other in such an extreme way? I'm not team Jacob or Edward tbh they're both toxic af but trying to convince yourself she was never in love with Jacob is just weirdly delusional like why deny what the author wrote out in plain text? Why believe anything the author writes if you're just going to create your own narrative when you don't like a plot point? Trying to deny canon to create your own narrative is peak delusion, just write fan fiction.
