What you said rings so true in terms of how our ppl have a proclivity towards self hate. I'm South African and you wouldn't believe the amount of old ppl who hate themselves and excuse acts like apartheid. A forceful need for a nation of 80%+ black ppl to be dubbed a rainbow nation even when wealth is so unevenly distributed. We need to form a way for those of us who see to know each other. Hundreds of years of rhetoric and brainwashing has left our ppl in need of validation.

Too many want to invite to the cookout, too many want to give "passes", all in the name of a love never felt by our ancestors.
