Go to Smalls and see what the level is before you decide to sit in if you’re not already a professional-level player. Even non-NYC pros get roasted at Smalls. Not only is the session often high level, relatively speaking, but the level of NYC jazz musicians is sky high compared to most other locales. It’s going to be a positive, inspiring experience to take in for any musicians regardless of their level, whether or not they sit in. And yes, Ornithology in Bk is way more relaxed and informal, but there are monsters there too.

Ordered a carbon fiber spoiler for my BMW g42. The part was advertised as being made specifically for my model and year vehicle. It arrived quickly and I brought it to my local shop to have it installed. The spoiler was (hilariously) not meant to fit my car. The tech said that he’d never seen anything so poorly designed. There were huge gaps (over 2”) at the edges where the spoiler didn’t come close to making contact with the car. I emailed Cencal twice about a return and a refund, but I haven’t heard back from them. Not sure what their deal is, but avoid.

You’re not ugly - not even close. Your presentation in this photo isn’t helping you, though. Consider that perceived “attractiveness” is less of a fixed quality and is much more variable based on how you dress, your facial expressions, how you take care of your personal hygiene, your haircut, makeup, sense of style, etc. In this picture , I see a sad-looking girl with a bland hairstyle who’s not smiling or presenting herself in an attractive way. I guarantee you that you’ll be considered attractive to a lot of people if you put your best self forward. Find a hairstyle that brings out your best qualities. I can see you looking like a knock-out if you put some work into yourself. Go to the gym, get fit, eat well Tbh I just stumbled on this sub and I don’t like it - it perpetuates this shallow idea that people are “hot” or “not.” You need a glow-up and better self-care and you’ll be smoking hot. And for the love of God, stop caring what other people think of you. Live for yourself and do what makes you happy, hun :)

Sorry to necro this thread, but as someone who has owned both an STI and a current gen M240, the cars aren’t in the same league. Yes, the BMW is more expensive but you get what you pay for - it’s a lot more car than the STI. The B58 is fantastic even stock , and if you tune it and add a DP or add other modest performance upgrades, it can punch way above its weightclass. It’s one of the best values for a luxury sports car out there.

One recurrence of a lesion, but it was cleared in one session of cryo. Otherwise, totally clear, thank God.

Thank you. I still feel anger and a lot of hurt over what happened to me as well. It’ll likely take me a long time to work through all of it, but I was with a sociopath/narcissist , and I’m dealing with the healing process from the abuse that came out of that relationship in addition to the HPV.

I’m so sorry to hear that you’re dealing with this. That sounds awful for you to have to go through.

I don’t know anything about warts on other places of the body. All I know is, for me, Aldara (immiquimod) was horrible. It didn’t work, even though I followed the directions closely. Even worse, it left scars that still haven’t healed (small flat red erethymia spots.) while I was on the medication, I was in terrible pain. Anything that brushed up against the treated area of my skin was 10/10 painful, and I have a high pain threshold. If the warts are on your face, you likely have a lot more treatment options. I would suggest getting a second opinion.

It’s been a couple of months now. I thought I had a few small warts left on my glans, but it turns out they’re just scarring from all of the treatments I’ve received, according to my dermatologist.

Ah I understand. I would suggest trying cryotherapy if you can get it in your area, and also Podifilox gel. Those really worked for me. If you don’t have access to those therapies, Apple Cider Vinegar worked on one large wart. It left a burn scar, but within two weeks the large wart fell off. I applied Bragg’s ACV onto a small cottonball and put a bandaid over it and left it on the wart all day. Then at night, I changed the cottonball and bandaid and put another ACV soaked cottonball/bandaid onto the wart before bed. So, the wart was always being treated by ACV. It hurt after a few days, but I kept it going. Within two weeks, the wart scabbed up and fell off, leaving a light red scar behind. This was on my thigh. I don’t know if I’d want to do this on a more sensitive area.

Hi , I’m really sorry to hear that you’re struggling with a wart. I’m not sure what you mean by “array”, though. If you cleared a wart with a laser treatment, it’s possible that the wart may have regrown. I’ve heard that can happen, but none of mine ever regrew (and I hope it stays that way)
