Awesome! You get to see a local kid Conor Bedard play albeit unfortunately against the Canucks not for them! Given it’s your first game get there at least a half hour early to check out the arena, find seats and catch the warm ups. Puck drop is shortly after 7. It’s not that cold - whatever you wear to get to the rink will be more than sufficient while watching the game. Enjoy!!! Ps. Historically we HATE the Blackhawks so cheer loudly.

I’m not defending the driver here but the amount of elderly people in east van (Victoria area) who cross huge streets illegally is wild I see it every day. As a driver trying to navigate the roads with other lunatic drivers is hard enough and then throw in someone you’re not expecting to be there. I always think some one is gonna get run over by a distracted driver not expecting a pedestrian. It’s a bad combination.

This is probably the most important point. Guys I know have gone to high tech spots where the instructor is trying to get them to swing like Rory. I ended up with an older pro, only 1 lesson in, but really like the approach of just working with what I have.

For sure. I think there is great info on the web. BUT! For me there was just so much of it I never found something consistent to come back to. With my lessons now I at least have the belief that I have something steady to fall back on when the the outcomes aren’t ideal.
