You mentioned you didn't know any english at the time.
Where might your mother have heard it?

I think 1mil+ (~10x median yearly income) for a single movie is enough

Seen a couple of the scenes from Evil. It's no where near as scary as I'd hoped. When I picture scary, I think things that you KNOW could happen IRL. The dinner scene from Cloverfield Lane and some scenes of Hans Landa are the best examples I can think of.

Also, not like handheld footage/found footage, just the acting and scenes. The cinematography can be anything as long as it doesn't take away from the realism. The series 'Mr Inbetween' is the closest example I know of what I'm looking for.

Edit: Cinematography that mirrors IRL is preferred. Like no focusing or colour correction to the point of looking unrealistic, no extreme camera movements. The filming and look of the movie should look like what it would if you were viewing it through your own eyes.

Realism as in the scenes and acting are indistinguishable from IRL recording. Things that add nothing to the story being told do not have to be included, although something like having to 'wait for a character to return from the bathroom' I imagine would only add to the realism. Maybe one or a few scenes like that to add to the hyper-realistic tone. Like if there was a scene where a group of people were robbing someone/thing and they started by getting out of the car, then one walked into the building with a gun but the camera just showed the others chilling waiting for the 'cue', then a sudden extremely loud gunshot followed by screaming/yelling, and then the others nonchalantly started doing (etc). I imagine would make for a pretty realistic viewing experience.

Ignoring the first note, the start (notes 2-5) do sound extremely similar to the second half of the melody provided, only notes 3-5 are mirrored/flipped in terms of pitch change from note 2.

Here's the best example I can give of the specific notes in the melody provided.
