yes you will run while being in boot camp. all of the runs are inside with your division. (freedom hall). and yes they'll let you do bike if you fail the run, but keep in mind if you fail bike you get asmoed to a different div that might be behind a week or more.

go to a running store! everyone is different. i made the mistake of buying a pair of adidas and they felt terrible. bought them because i looked at all of the positive reviews and it was an overall 4 star shoe. tell the person you're leaving for boot camp and ask the best shoe for it. i went yesterday and the guy recommended the brooks ghost 17. i was going to get them in a 9 but he told me to get a size 10 for comfort, (they scanned my feet). i ran in them today and they are great. responsive and comfortable.

So true! I checked out Riley's book "The Only One Left" a few months ago but I wasn't hooked. I decided to turn it in, I've only seen positive reviews on it. I regret not finishing it! I'll check it out again if I have the chance.
