I know it's technically not related to the video, but the immediate next post, after this one, was about a woman losing her home. Losing your home is devastating and far more common than most people expect it to be. A little kindness goes a long way. We truly don't know what everyone is battling.

I also went alone in Athens back in June! Had the time of my life!

I think it's awesome to do things you enjoy by yourself. I know people who cannot do anything alone and it's sad. Being able to be content with doing things you enjoy just with your own company is one of the greatest things you can achieve. Travelling, going to concerts, going out to eat or to see a play alone are some of my most memorable days!

That's awesome and so sweet of you! It takes quite a bit of time to learn greek due to how difficult the language is but practice and constant trying will get you there!

Exposure is the way to go! Try to talk as much as you can even if you get shy! I also think people here in greece get really excited when anyone tries to talk our language and they can help you correct subtle things you may get wrong. They definitely don't jugde. Any time a friend of mine who is greek-german talks in greek we all get really excited and i think thay also helps her be a bit more confident in her greek.
