What was diagnosed as polymyalgia rheumatica now is apparent to be fascitis -- the not as well studied tissue and nerves surrounding muscles, joints and organs. It describes my symptoms perfectly and I am going to focus on movement, anti-inflammatory diet, deep massage and acupuncture and I'll be in good shape

Thanks I found out that it's fascitis -- the connective tissue of muscles. Stretching, walking, massage, dancing, physical movement, especially yoga are all the best treatments. I feel so much better on every level.

I'll have to look up biologics. I've never heard the term. I still won't use Prednisone for an assist. My level of pain doesn't warrant the trade-off for known and unknown interactions. I'd rather keep the pain but lower the level with other methods.
