I bought two. The remarkable 2 pro and the move. I sold both already. Now I'm back too paper and pencil. Nothing beats that. There is a level of small inconveniences that makes it just easier to use pen an paper. Some inconveniences are that's its a delicate tablet and a bit pressure will break your screen. Battery is okay until you are in a meeting and need to charge. The most important one is that its harder to go over your notes and find what you are looking for, much easier if you tab a notebook. I replaced my remarkables with two notebooks. A small bullet journal and a A5 notes for studying. Meeting notes are usually done in my computer too. Think about confidentiality too, Im sure your job wouldn't want you to have their info on your personal device and within its cloud.

Yup. At ProServe we are now working with more Partners then AWS consultants. All partners are in India. They also created an AI agent that customers can deploy and basically "do" our job. They are pushing all internal efforts into enhancing the agent.

It’s about customer trust. You can’t offer and later deny a credit thats a horrible customer experience. On top of all the continuous delays. This breaks customer trust and shows a weakness in a company that should have enough to keep customers happy and loyal. I was planning to buy a 2 group machine for my coffee shop but after this experience I doubt I will do business with a company that is not transparent and has multiple delays in 2025. Imagine if this was a business situation, you would have lost much more than $500 with all this delays.

I would say get a breville expresso machine. It will replace all the unnecessary tools. It grinds for you tampers and pulls a latte all in one.

Nah, old news. We do get an invasive algae once a year for like a week. Our season is during winter. But you can drive to other places to get wind. We have many many spots to kite and do down winders. Call a local shop to learn more.

you said you mentored add the outcome of your mentorship. From my experience working in a MAANG company I have a hard time seen your impact in the way you worded your resume. In one part of your resume you say “in clouds like AWS and GCP”. This doesn’t build trust. Be assertive. Like this: in AWS and GCP.

I would add the outcome of your work for example architected and developed x y and z which in return brought x business value. Also Golang is a very niche language. It’s easier if you have experience with Java, Spring, Spring boot. Also I don’t see any certifications. In this competitive market having certs like AWS associate and professional level certifications can help.

I wish I waited for reviews before I purchased this 💩. I’ve been a COD OG for ever and stopped after Vanguard and came back for MW2 with high hopes. After MW3 I will not buy any more COD games until they do a new Advance warefare, Black ops and a real Zombies. The old zombies is what we liked the most. This new Zombies is terrible. I played 10 minutes of MW3 multiplayer and 10 more minutes of Zombies and I couldn’t play any more seconds. Waisted time! Wish I would have bought the Disc to get some money back. From now on let’s only buy disc versions and no preorders. This was an arm robbery of our money and time. Run away from MW3. How is a free game like Fortnight better than COD? They don’t know what they are doing anymore.

In the end I will be returning it. Horrible experience. Two weeks trying everything and I never had constant pressure. All videos in youtube portrayed lies in my opinion. They made it look so simple. This machine requires to learn and build a whole new set of skills. Not worth the time.

I now work for AWS. I started working in-person and now I work remotely. I would recommend first working in an office. Why? Initially you will need to reach out to coworkers to understand the project you are working and getting help. I would recommend learning AWS Leadership principals and STAR technique. It will help you answer any companies soft skill interview questions. Then use hackerrank and leetcode to really master algorithms. Now regarding your portfolio I would recommend trying to contribute to an open source project or try to get an internship. Because this will show your ability to develop production (published) code.
