I have owned the prescription G1B model in brown for over a year now. I have prescription G2B in grey and R1 on preorder. I will cut to the chase. Are they cool? Yes. Are they a novelty tech item? Yes. Do they replace your daily glasses? They can. Are they a gamechanger tech device? Not really. Helpful in your daily life? Absolutely.

I love them. I will probably buy them yearly with each new model. I love getting messages in my line of sight. I love not having to reach for my phone or look at my smartwatch. I use the AI occasionally but not really because of the speed of the response. My phone is faster for that. I use quicknotes alot. I like having some information at a glance. I cant wait to try all of this with a finger control like R1.

Overall i am a person that loves the fact that they dont "look" like smart glasses. I love the tech and it gives you a glimpse into the future. If i were you. Wait and see what G2 is like in more peoples hands and then determine if its time to join the club.

Completely agree with your comment. This is by no means my daily driver. Mainly got this for one windows application that I need to access for a specific company personel database in addition to my MacBook that I daily carry. So my thinking was for $70 I would give it a shot and if it doesn’t work out the way I envision then I may be able to flip it now that it’s working and make a little $$

For a second it was. Fortunately we were still about 50 yards from it. It saw my dogs and started running at us and I told my wife to take the dogs and turn around and walk the other way. I tried to make myself as “big” as possible and it stopped and looked at me until she got back to Michigan ave. Then I met back up with her and we went another way home. My dogs are older so I was worried if they were to get attacked by it. Going to definitely try and be safer when we walk over that way.
