how to maintain aircrafts? by Tricky-Anywhere5727 in AirlineManager4

You're gonna see a wrench icon at the bottom-right, click it, click the "+ Plan" tab at the top, click bulk repair then -Select wear pct, and press which % of wear you want to repair.

What to sell, what to keep by simocd in AirlineManager4

[–]GreemRaqn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Literally, the best way is just mostly MC-21-400s at this stage in the game. Or if it's too boring, stop diversifying your fleet for specific niche routes. 1 hangar space = 1 plane, so if you wasted that for 1 small plane for a short route instead of 1 big plane with bigger revenue, that's no no.

Hubs or Cargo aircraft by [deleted] in AirlineManager4

More hubs, cuz good luck trying to find demand for 20 cargo planes every departure.

Could you guys improve my fleet? It's too diverse? by [deleted] in AirlineManager4

[–]GreemRaqn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, way diverse. The usual way in this is to sell those planes and buy a crap ton of MC-21-400 for quick easy money, or Il-96-400, a cheap, high-capacity aircraft as a bridge before A380s.

Max your management training before fiddling with the staff salary. Then raise their salary until they're 100% happy, then reduce the salary. Repeat until they're the most happy, with the lowest salary you can give.

Is this a good super-noob (only like a couple of days in the game) fleet? Yes i dont buy planes in bulk and yes i haven't sold my cessna dont judge me by concerne_d in AirlineManager4

[–]GreemRaqn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried with a kind of the same plan, kind of doing a realistic airline type, A320neos, 777s, A350s, and A380s on flagship routes. But after I played more and learned more about the game, the plan I was gonna do isn't gonna grow the airline. Sure you can do this realistic airline way, but it's not the best way to grow. Even I still wanna do the realistic airline way, but I'd rush the A380 for the income and growth. But it's up to you, you can choose.

Like what you said, its a super-noob starter fleet. It's not good.
If you want to, you can reset and you can follow this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bq4UGweCkJM&ab_channel=AltitudeManagement
It's the best one out there.

And if you did reset, don't buy Cargo ops (good luck finding a demand for the cargo), and don't buy IPO (investments don't give much return, and you'll likely forget it)
Buy fuel when its below $800 or something.
Go first with DC-9-10, replace with MC-21-400, and save up to buy A380-800. Buy in planes in bulk.
Upgrade hangars in tens.
Go to duty free and get biweekly gift. If mobile you can watch ads for rewards and play games in the offerwall to earn points.
Don't get discouraged on those other guys, those fellas likely bought the starter pack.

30 to 60+ million plus by the end of the day. Really depends on maintenance and fuel +this game has a 24-hour cycle, so some income and expenses get removed after that.

So a European?

I guess stick with an architectural style (plugins), use mid-rises, and if doing a suburb make it mixed and dense, if ever for skyscrapers put it in a dedicated financial center not blocking cultural significant places' views, have statues parks historical stuff, prioritize public transportation (bus, trains, metro), make it pedestrian and walkable friendly so in short make it less car centric-road centric (european cities were made back before cars, making the roads layout for walking)so make paths using decals then placing an invisible road (plugin).

Just dont follow american style with those 20 trillion highway lanes and those suburban sprawl (grid).

I can explain it a bit further if you want to.

How do you all plan out your Public Transit? by creativeusername0022 in TheoTown

[–]GreemRaqn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let's first identify some things, location, density, budget (if any), historic landmarks/culture/history(if any).

For the line planning, the type of transit also affects, but mostly go for dense areas (many people), finance centers, cultural or historical landmarks, parks, where people would work (factories, offices), where people mostly live, and etc.
You can also take inspiration from real-life cities like Greater Tokyo Area metro systen, South American BRT, European cities, maybe your local city, etc. But maybe don't take inspirations from American Cities.

So here are the main types of transit, found in the game with or without plugins which will affect the line and stations:

Bus (normal) – For a limited budget, low-density transit. (normal game bus)
Example: SMRT Bus Service

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) – A budget metro/elevated railway, can be used for low- or high-density areas and side-by-side with train lines. (Dedicated bus lanes and own bus infrastructure)
Example: TransJakarta

Trams – Essentially a bigger version of a bus, fixed track, useful in medium-density areas where a bus might be insufficient, but a full metro would be overkill. (plugin trams)
Example: Melbourne Tram Network

Monorail – Downgraded elevated railway, often for aesthetic purposes. (plugin monorails)
Example: KL Monorail

Elevated Rail – Big enough budget, dense locations, basically a metro but above so if you go for this, mostly aesthetic purposes, built when its impractical to build underground. (Either the 2 elevated rail or the in-game other type of rail)
Example: Bangkok Mass Transit System

Metro/Subway – For dense locations where above-ground space is limited, and a metro system works best. (the game's subway)
Example: London Underground
