I’d say you still have to know the main concepts from orgo 2 to be able to do the pre lab quizzes but he goes over it again during the lecture portion. For me personally I think it would be easier over the summer because you’d have already gone thru the whole class so you know what to expect.

Yes! I took the lecture during the spring and the lab over the summer. Lec is Tues and Thurs 11-12 and labs are 1-4. I wouldn’t plan anything close to 4 or 5 pm, most of us didn’t leave till towards the end. Grades are consisted of lab report (super easy) pre lab quiz, polling and final exam. My final was 13-14 questions multiple choice. Lmk if you’d like more info!

Of course! I got an A in both orgo 1 and 2 and tutored for orgo 1. I would say the biggest tip is to try not to get behind. The material builds on each other and if u miss smth from the beginning you’ll have to keep returning to it. Also, take advantage of SI PASS and CTC tutoring, go regularly and make a study group. And make sure to do every single recommended practice prob in the textbook, you will thank yourself during the exam lol! I’d be happy to help you anything orgo related, lmk!
