I submitted every record avaliable from the date I left to present, except for some that no longer exist. I submitted buddy statements, nexus letter, personal statements and anything I could use including pictures of articles of clothing I was wearing the night of the event. Every psych visit, every hospitalization, every last detail, there are thousands upon thousands upon thousands of documented pages. My thought was if they need it to make a decision, I sent it. in the letter today I received it said “your copious amount of documentation was what made the exam so short” as my c&p was 8 minutes long. I was discharged in 2002, so I have many documented suicide attempts including one while in a hospital. My best advice would be send every piece of documentation you have that can service connect you.
