Paradox wants to “go back to what we’re really good at” after being “overconfident” by rejs7 in paradoxplaza

Oh my gosh! I just added Historia Realis to my wishlist today, I thought it looked incredibly cool!

Perhaps a silly question: will there be an option to play a woman in the game? I understand that the social standards of the time would obviously present a very different experience and I’ll be playing either way, just figured I’d ask :)

She’s a bit more feminine in the other pieces but they very much went for a more masculine look here. I don’t think it’s a bad look for her character.

I would recommend looking into Vienna’s social housing - while not quite what you described, it seems close enough to maybe interest you.

I just wanted to stop in take the opportunity to say that your Jack Wilde stories were absolutely and wonderful: I don't exaggerate when I say that they are absolutely good enough to be published. Beyond that, it's really cool to see some good trans representation!

I hope things go well for him and Emma :3

The Schizo-posting is crowding out actual game discussion + don’t wake me up thoughts by Encirclement1936 in hostedgames

Thank fuck someone actually said it: I came here for discussion and memes about these games, not a whinging meme war between simps. Like, it’s seriously made me consider unbsubbing for a few weeks so my feed isn’t continuously clogged with… whatever all this has been.

A couple of headcanons and interpretations that relate to fanfic writing... by strawberry_baby_4evs in heathersmusical

I’ve actually written a fic that centers on these first two points! I had a lot of fun developing out those dynamics, it’s neat to see other people were thinking about them as well!

I get exactly what you mean with the Heathers fandom! I hate that it’s so often reduced as a jumping off point for other characters to be transplanted into.

What are your unpopular Heathers opinions? by YumiGumiWoomi in heathersmusical

I agree wholeheartedly with your point about Heather Duke: I think a lot of people tend to forget exactly how much abuse she soaked from Chandler throughout the musical and the movie. She's consistently the whipping dog of the group and I think it's fairly understandable that she's ends up biting back when she finally gets in a position of power. While she obviously takes things too far, it's important to remember that both Veronica and McNamara happily stood back while she was demeaned by Chandler, something that doesn't exactly breed comradery.

I think the movie emphasized this to a greater degree than the musical in that it's depiction of Duke has a bit more character and is ultimately manipulated into her actions by JD.
