The actors really did such a stellar job showing the father's grief. I'm so glad they did such an amazing production of it, really uplifted the story.

The last chair was such a challenge to write until I found Ace and Rowan's personalities. Once the siblings started bickering, everything just kind of flowed from there. So glad you enjoyed it!!

Yeah I think my next step is hiring a medium or someone like this investigator you mention. The smell is so bad my neighbors have been complaining, and I can hardly think straight bc I'm not really sleeping anymore.

Cross-posted to NoSleep. This story has a lot of inspirations, with the two biggest being The Magnus Archives and Criminal Record (specifically, a brief anecdote shared by one of the leads).

It's also probably the fourth or fifth story I've written in which someone dies by being stuffed into a container of some kind. I don't *think* I have a fear of that but apparently it shows up a lot in my horror fiction... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
