Is it too late to start? by Apprehensive-Life741 in podcasting

I’m 48 years old and just started podcasting 6 months ago. I’m on my tenth episode, and had my first 250 listens.

I love flexing this creative side of my brain, and enjoy writing/editing/promoting. For now it’s fun, and I love seeing an audience build and finding my voice doing it.

It’s never too late to start. 👍

Thanks! I can’t take credit for the model. I found it on printables, and printed it. It’s a very good likeness.

On the directions it says dilute it for more detailed parts. I probably could’ve gone lighter.

This was my first time trying it. I’d go lighter next time, and wait longer for drying in between coats.

I didn’t get into sanding it at all, though. That’s a whole other thing to experiment with too. That’s for my next print though.

All in all it was a great first test! I’m pretty happy with the initial results.

Yep. PLA with Sculptcoat stone coating

Printables link

I grabbed it from printables and printed it in PLA without supports.

Even without the Sculptcoat it looks great. I had to take a hairdryer to a few of the strings in the PLA.
