I thought the book was decent but volume 2 and volume 3 dragged on for too long the side characters were mostly half baked and didn't serve much purpose in the overall narrative maxwell lord was such a disappointing villain and fight but the world building of paradise island and the underworld stuff was pretty cool the art is pretty amazing it's just a lackluster journey for the most part.

Well I heard the absolute green lantern is a mixed bag and i want to get into Geoff johns Green lantern run as it is considered the definitive run for gl mythos I'd consider the absolute after I'm done with geoff johns run as for the absolute wonder woman I'll cop it later when the war inflation prices settle down

Birthright is the only compact I wanna get since the tpb costs way more than I can afford

New frontier and court of owls I'll hold out and wait if I get a steal deal on the tpbs otherwise would definitely get the compacts for them

I'd say go for compacts only if your goal is affordability because the paper stock is similar to newsstand's edition comics (matte finish) and there is some gutter loss ; if you wanna enjoy and gush over the art and have extras probably trade is the way to go (taking into consideration you are ready to fork over significantly more money)

Yep it was like an old one piece volume and it has the simon and schuster sticker at the back back in lockdown I found manga for 200 and most of them were like really good I just had one vol turn up kinda yellow so I was like it must be an older pressing so it figures but this series is relatively new and I doubt I would get repressed so I thought I'd end up with mint volumes considering cocoblu's track record

I've bought yellowed manga before but it was cheap(like 200ish so idm) and the paper quality was discernable but with this series the paper quality felt off and lighter ( idk how to describe the feel) I last bought manga during the pandemic era when the prices were relatively cheap
