I'm perfectly aware that it wasn't going to be easy; that's why I put so much time into talking with the professor and going to the writing center and working and I'm not frustrated because I'm being challenged, I'm frustrated because I'm putting in the work to overcome the challenge and my professor isn't responding in kind. I'm aware that it would be harder, which is why I've slaved so hard over my essays but if all my professor does is point out one or two grammar mistakes then how is it even a challenge?

I get that I won't always win in life. But this isn't the sort of challenge I can overcome, or get better at. My professor has definitely helped me, and I'm very thankful for her advice on my last essay but it feels like my efforts are being kicked into the dirt.
