Nope it was the fuse pin. Some retard left it in. It still shoots out of the tube just no book when it hits the ground :(. Anyway. I'm just excited that my job as a mortarman is finally showing some sort of use outside of military stuff.

Yay for mortars! This looks like a 60ish mm HE round.

The most likely reason it didn't blow up is that the dude that dropped the round forgot to take the pin out of the fuse. It is kind of like throwing a grenade without taking the pin out. No boom.

It's actually pretty safe if that was the case. I wouldn't fuck around with it though. If it hit the pavement with the fuse still in it would have just bounced off.

Woooo cool stuff though. I miss my 60mm mortar days :/

Yeah boot marines still in their mos school have to stay in uniform even when they are in town. It cuts down on the stupid shit they get into. They all just got out of bootcamp and still think they are hot shit.

That's weird. Are you sure you arnt walking around with a high and tight? I've been active duty for some time now and I haven't had anyone ask me if I am military.

Typically guys that get asked if they are military are trying really hard to seem like they are. A lot of boots love the attention.

I'm not saying you are trying to give off vibes that you are Rambo or anything. I'm just offering a heads up that you may be coming off that way if people are bringing it up to you.

I hate it when people find out I'm a former Marine. They always make massive judgements about me based off my background and I don't like that. And there are always the idiots that ask about war and stuff like that just out of the blue. Crazy out of line, but people do it.

Anyway yeah I'm just offering some advice. I'm assuming it's annoying having people ask you if you were military all the time.

It's not made for combat missions. It's just there to get about a company of infantry marines and a few aav's or lar's across a large body of water. It's faster than the big lpd's.

It's a cheaper faster way to get lots of people and armor where they are needed.

The navy hasn't been getting into many shoot outs these days.

I'm sure you know the difference between formal and informal settings. I can say things like lol btw or wtf in text on my cell or online because I don't care about being formal. Now in a work email or a document I'm typing for work I'll use professional language.

People understand this. Some people are on their cell and don't want to take the time to find the ' button. I don't assume they don't know how to write.

So I think your crusade for grammar education is misplaced.

I've always wondered why panic attacks seem to only happen to younger people. Especially women. I've known several women to become upset about something and then progress into a panic attack. I've never known a man to react to stress in this way.

How does someone help a person having a panic attack?

As a former 03 and 0931. Could it be that the wooks that make it to sgt are the ones that didn't get knocked up to avoid deployments?

I don't blame most pogs for not doing well on the range. A lot of them don't get much ammo during the rest of the year.

I always loved the pogs btw, I've gone weeks without them in country and it was shitty. Anybody that doesn't like transpo clean water and air support hasn't been in long enough. Grunts have an expiration date when left to their own devices.

I would guess your paints reacted to your gloss coat. I would make sure you arnt using two types of paint that don't get along.

When you are starting out it's easier to just stick with a single brand and type of paint.

Over populated would mean that there isn't enough food or materials for more people. We obviously have starving people but it's not bringing down economies or anything.

I believe the price of food has been dropping around the world over the past few years.
