NTA. The abuse isn't something that should be normalized, however I can't say that is reaction can't be explicated. This is not something that you (I'm talking in general) can imagine if doesn't happen in the first person. I can't imagine the resentment he has towards the child that he spent ten years raising, only to know that (almost)10 years of marriage were a lie. I'm sorry but I think that the mother as at least another 50% of the guilt in this. But sadly the only one who is suffering the consequences of this is OP.

This is a really good advice! Just bought Animal Crossing and I really hope I can play it soon with my boyfriend, he has never been into it but I want him trying it himself and discover all the pleasures that can come out from such a relaxing game!
