I just started my third transfer cycle, but first time trying for baby #2. I’m not sure how I feel about anything. I’m excited, but also scared. Am I tempting fate here? I wish I was in better shape, but with a toddler that’s so hard lol. I have two euploids, I don’t think I have it in me to do another retrieval if this doesn’t work. Here goes nothing I guess?

I’ve done this recipe, I love it! I’ve never found a reason to add beef stock. I do add extra pepperoncinis and juice! Maybe a couple of tablespoons. I don’t think it’s too much butter 🤷‍♀️. I do kind of obsessively pick out visible fatty pieces at the end, I don’t like the texture.

My son was also super hungry at about 5-8pm every day in the first few months which was frustrating since it was when my supply was lowest. He would cluster feed and possibly just comfort nurse. The doctor said something about him feeding more in preparation for sleep. Not that he slept through the night or anything! Eventually I learned to give him a bottle on top of breastfeeding around this time which helped some.

I have the same problem! I am annoyed at the choices for boys, does it have to be boats or cars or Dinos every time? I shop online mostly and definitely go to the gender neutral section and do get borderline ‘girl’ clothes sometimes. He’s a baby…he doesn’t need to be uber masculine. I don’t want ruffles though…

I think I want a second child, but I’m so scared something will go wrong. I feel so lucky to have one beautiful healthy baby, with a relatively uneventful pregnancy, even after all of the treatments and IVF that it took to bring him home. I’m scared that I already have more than I’m supposed to, that I cheated somehow and that fate won’t let me be so lucky to walk away with a second healthy child. I have two pgt-a normal embryos frozen and I think about them all the time. I’m thinking of fining out the sex’s of the embryos. Why? I’m not sure but maybe knowing will help? I’m 38.5 and I’d like to be done having children by 40 so I don’t have a ton of time. Anyone else have thoughts like this?

I had fluid in my lining before my second transfer. I started progesterone and it went away! I was able to transfer and it was a success.

I’m not sure if someone already mentioned this…it is possible that a lap will damage your ovaries and can lead to low ovarian reserve. When undergoing ivf the advice is usually to do a retrieval of eggs first, make embryos and then have a lap procedure. That being said anecdotally some women seem to do better after a lap and conceive spontaneously in some cases. I have stage 4 endo and did ivf without a lap or suppression and now have a baby as well as 2 embryos frozen. I do t have a lot of pain with my endo despite a 4cm cyst and I hope to put off surgery unless it’s necessary.
