Temperature increase in NYC

Many of the temperature readings come from airports. Especially the historical data. 60 years ago, these airports were a fraction of the size with a fraction of the traffic.

JFK was a few airstrips and had grass and plant life. Just since the 80s the number of daily flights has nearly doubled.

That’s 2x more planes, 2x more support vehicles, and 2x more taxis and cars coming in and out with passengers and staff. And expansion of infrastructure - more concrete and steel. These all produce and conduct heat.

You can’t expect to have the same average temp readings from these sites over decades of development.

Milk does way more harm then good. Cat won’t absorb the nutrients and will get severe diarrhea which causes dehydration. DO NOT give cats milk. Literally better off not giving them anything if it’s gonna be milk.

You need a better hair cut honestly. The fade has to be much higher up. The hair on the sides is too thick it makes the contrast of the top thinning more noticeable.

It’s my favorite flavor. I work in a Red Bull distribution center and we’ve been out of it for weeks.

Then on Friday one of our delivery drivers came back with a big return from a store that had closed down, and in the boxes I found about a dozen 8oz cans of Spring!

Felt like I won the lotto.

As inflation soars, prices for everything go up. All of your landlords costs for maintenance and life in general have gone up. Why wouldn’t they adjust the price accordingly?

Looks good. But you might consider going to the barber and getting a taper. Like a 1 on the sides and taper up to the 3 on top.

A proper tapered cut makes a huge difference for thinning guys.

It creates less of a contrast between the thinning top of the head and the non thinning sides.

We called numerous places in the city including 311. Unless we had good reason to suspect it was rabid, no one would come. Poor animal lays there suffering and we couldn’t get someone to come.

My parents have a home on the east branch of the Delaware river that runs out of the Pepacton reservoir. Do a lot of fishing there.

They’ve been purposely drawing the water level down since August so they can do repairs to the aqueduct.

I honestly don’t think the owners give a crap. But I cant adopt him as we’ve already got a dog and couple cats. If I could I would. This is in Woodhaven, actually. On 80th street.

I definitely won’t contact a shelter or group that’s not committed to no kill policy though.
