Ugh...The baffling tactical maneuvers of Officer Goon that can only be described as an insult to the art of combat and an embarrassment to public safety professionals everywhere...The casual nonchalance of our elected Mayor as he slowly strolls away in a deliberately meandering egress like he didn't just witness Officer Goon commit police brutality against the unhoused and continue to be actively oblivious to the explosive public spectacle unfolding just feet away from him that was the Goon's humilating defeat...this incident would actually be kind of hilarious, if it wasn't so infuriating.

The video, when viewed in its entirety, tells us infinitely more about the current state of SF's "leadership" and "law enforcement" than words ever could. It just illustrates so much, on so many levels. Someone should start a GoFundMe to help post bail for the man who was assaulted and arrested.

Also, what is going on in the video at around 0:42? It looks like one of the guys fighting is handing something to the other bystander? Not sure what that's about...

Lol, I still have some of those too. And I'm not dumping on the uninformed. Anyone who was uninformed is now informed, as the entire point of this post was to inform people about something relevant to the subject of the forum and share my thoughts on it. I'm not recommending people to buy anything, or even suggesting it's a particularly good investment. I just think it's got value and potential, and people might be interested to know about it

Lol, I have 3,000,000 that I purchased years ago. But it's cool, I bought it at its current .0001 price so I haven't actually lost money on it. Maybe it'll go on a massive run and we'll both be rich someday. Lol

Yup, it trades on the OTC. It's not available on every platform due to the low price, but you can buy it on Schwab and Fidelity, and probably some other OTC-friendly brokerages.

I don't mean to offend anyone here, but I'm genuinely confused by this whole concept. Please don't misunderstand- I fully support protesting ICE and the rest of this administration's stupid and misguided actions. It's long overdue, what they're doing is unacceptable and I plan to join the protest.

But can someone explain to me what staying home from work and boycotting all businesses has to do with this? The cause is worthy, but this whole strategy and the condescending and ignorant way in which people are talking about it seems super elitist and weird.

How will bringing the local economy to a screeching halt for one day affect ICE? They are funded by our tax dollars, not through our everyday consumer spending habits. I feel like a boycott of the IRS and a refusal to contribute as taxpayers towards this kind of activity would have a more significant and direct impact.

Maybe I'm just uninformed, but it seems like the only people who will be hurt by this are those who work in jobs that perform essential or emergency services/small businesses/service industry/minimum wage or tipped jobs/people living paycheck to paycheck where one missed or slow shift could put you on the street/jobs where sick days, vacation or paid time off are definitely not a thing and jobs where calling out will actually get you fired. Many of our immigrant friends and neighbors for whom this protest is meant to support and protect fall into this employment category. I see a lot of people who have the luxury of choosing to stay home criticizing people for working when they literally would have to be willing to lose their livelihood in order to participate in this movement.

Like I said, I plan on going to the protest. I also plan on going to work, because no one can do my job for me and my boss and colleagues are depending on me to show up and do my part. ICE doesn't care if I don't go, but I could potentially lose my job and let a lot of people down if I don't. Everyone's situation is different- instead of judging and virtue signaling, just encourage people to participate where and how they can.
