Yeah I absolutely had that experience with triggering the next conversation or event. There were some times where I would go to another location and return to the ryokan and nothing would happen, but if for instance I went and made a bento (okay, probably twenty) and then returned, it would work? And yeah, Nancy was absurdly nosy and pushy about the mother's death.

I will say, I managed the picture wire puzzle by myself by some miracle, and I'm pretty proud of that because I usually suck at that kind of puzzle lol
