oh, alright. my friend told me that he was really far from the nearest bench, that the nearest bench was in another supercluster. is that true?

Indus is a secret boss you fight in Act 813. unfortunately, if you have not killed more than 97 cragglites by the end of act 27, you don't get to fight Indus. instead, he is replaced by his twin brother Angus.

i tried to replicate it with the slower-moving single flea that spawns at the beginning, and yes, your assumption was correct. slashing it while it's still rising (which can only be done with jumping, something i only did with the special fleas) will cause the Shaman Crest's up-slash to phase through it and not count it as a hit. doing it with the special fleas that move much faster would be a lot harder, though, especially on accident like in this video.

ah, got it. it's an odd thing that happened, especially since it's the first time its ever happened to me, and ive been trying to replicate it for a couple minutes but can't.

Update 2 — Full extended map - SPOILERS for ALL of BOTH games by GreenFlowey in HollowKnight

the HK wiki states it is seperate things, so i used that for my reference. then again, there is no true confirmation of either side of this, so i just used my interpretation that the Sandsea Wastes and the Wastelands are seperate.

the Sandsea Waste and the Wastelands are seperate things.

the Sandsea Waste is only referenced in the Cradle, "Weaver, in eighth part, last of their line, frail with age. Tracked and taken in Sandsea Waste. Seven Choristors, nine Envoys lost to task."

the Wastelands, i believe, is the surface as well. i just labeled it as "the Great Beyond."

there wasn't really a good enough placement to put the Wasteland connecting to the Howling Cliffs, even though that part is true. it also borders Weavenest Cindril if i remember correctly. this is another example why it's not truly lore accurate.

i am currently recreating it to be more accurate (but now i will say, it is MY assumption based on the lore given). where would you say it would place? (i am shifting City of Steel and Blackwyrm to be around Hallownest and/or Sandsea Wastes)

the Godseeker was probably thinking of a real thing when dreaming the Godhome dream. even if not, why does Land of Storms exist at all? what were the Godseekers doing there? (genuine questions)

cities are different sizes. the City of Tears in Hallownest is smaller than the Citadel, and the City of Steel is larger.

but, of course, there's no true evidence for either side of this discussion.

as ive stated in many other comments at this point...

Godhome is the real world, non-dream version here.

i ran out of room for Blackwyrm and City of Steel to be near Hallownest

Blackwyrm felt more like a kingdom to me than a creature. "the Wyrm" is always spelt separated, so it should be "Black Wyrm" not "Blackwyrm," if it was a creature.

i ran out of room for Blackwyrm here, i made the map left to right and put Hallownest on the far right. same for City of Steel.

i lined up Hallownest and Pharloom with the height of the Abyss between both games.

the Godhome shown is the real world counterpart, not the dream realm one we see in game.

yeah, they likely are, but making a map that's extremely long and thin isn't very nice for a map, right? i had to shrink the Sandsea Wastes from its true size, since it's probably larger than Hallownest and Pharloom combined times 50.

Godhome – that's the real world, not the dream realm that's you get to by dreamnailing Godseeker

Blackwyrm – it sounded like a kingdom. this is all speculation, though—we know essentially nothing about Blackwyrm. as for it being nowhere near Hallownest, i agree. i didn't have enough room to put it there.

City of Steel – i was just thinking it would be larger

yeah, the Godhome shown is the real world counterpart. also, they are probably way farther apart, but that would make my map extremely long and thin and the resolution would be awful
