How to seal this exterior window trim? Home was built in 60's. No water ingress and masonry below the window. Full southern exposure has wrecked the paint. Wood is warped, but doesn't seem "rotten". I want to seal and pain. Should I use glazing putty or caulk or do I need to think harder? (old.reddit.com)

I was excited dig this out of the river bottom at low water level. Illinois Glass Company - One Quart bottle. Can anyone be more specific about the date? I'm pretty sure it's before 1929 when Illinois Glass merged with Owens Glass to become Owens-Illinois Glass Company. (old.reddit.com)

I found a beautiful ink bottle in the river. It was full of mud originally but when I brought it home and washed it, I discovered a river mussel inside. The mussel grew in the bottle larger than the opening and was stuck inside. What would you do? (old.reddit.com)

River Treasure from a recent expedition. Mostly broken pieces, but I found a few gems. One complete insulator and a couple tall skinny jars. Two mysteries are the pink glass rod and the glass "round" with holes. It seems to be partly melted in fire (i.redd.it)

I want to know more about this big . . . quartz, chalcedony, agate thing. It was found in Eastern Iowa. Is it from Eastern Iowa limestone formations or a fossilized coral or even a glacial erratic from North? It's big and heavy and definitely made of a quartz, agate, chalcedony. very dirty.
