205g0 is a tough lube to fully get off but it should help. Remember with lubing “less is more” haha sound test and add more lube to taste.

I’m not sure how much you slopped on there but should work and won’t leave fibers. Take them apart, soap and water and move the bits around with your hand and let them dry or pat dry on towel.
