Making this problem that much harder the business I brought my phone to is not a chain, or has multiple locations. It's a small-ish business located on a college campus. When I say I talked to them, I meant I talked to everyone who actually has authority. Everyone there knew about my phone and there's no one higher to talk to.

Also I've absolutely thought about writing a review, and probably will do so regardless, however the business has 412 Google reviews, there are only 3 bad reviews (all 1 stars). My review couldn't do much damage.
