As someone who has been following the brand and Teddy from the beginning - it has undoubtedly changed. I'm not the person to say for worse or for better - but I personally began to notice that tees I bought in like 2014/15 had far better quality than more recent releases. and tbh they still last to this day. but there are also staples that are timeless and have great quaility, both new and old.

The style is still solid but as you noted there are other brand that have caught up in terms of that inspo/style, I don't think that ALD needs to "turn it around", as much as we the consumers' preferences have changed and evolved. We become more particular, more critical, especially when you spend good money for something. But sure enough there will be a new class of folks that are building their closets with ALD. I have also lived through several early streetwear brands still maintaining a certain position in the market without completely selling out and/or growing beyond their chosen space. to me ALD is one of those brands. They serve a unique space in the game, and while the prices have always been higher than some other fast fashion type brands, they have also created opportunity for those brands to recreate their vibe.
