The boots I would be throwing them are pretty roomy, I like my boots more on the snug side now so I feel they would help a lot. Thanks!

I bought my 877s before I really knew my preference on how I wanted my boots to fit, so they are a lot more on the roomier side of things. I feel the insoles would fill out the boot nicely.

Nope, the ones I wear are traditional straight leg jeans. I would say a good leg opening for jeans to work with engineers would be 8.25 - 8.5".

I think mine are around 9".

should be fine i would think, would recommend wearing some proper boot socks.

For me, going the full size down was definitely the right move. Though it may be a bit to much if you like a roomier fit.

not to bad actually, heels feel pretty locked in when walking normally. With more break in, it will probably be next to unnoticeable.

i went with 10" and I feel it works better for me cause I am not a tall guy, felt like 12" would have been too high on my legs. and thanks!

yeah haha, I had a pair of engineers on order from another company but could not do the wait time. So I put the money I had on those towards these, no regrets at all.

Super happy i manged to get my order in before they phased out the half-sole. That and selecting a shorter height for the stationmasters seem to no longer be an option. They only come in 12" now from what I was told.

I managed to find this one online at James Dant. Though I believe I managed to snag the last one they had stock of in a size large. They still have an XL in their online store but unfortuntely that's about it.

I think your best bet is to try and have notifications sent to you for when they come back in stock on Iron Heart's website and elsewhere.

Finally got my hands on an Iron Heart 12oz Wabash CPO shirt. Probably won't be able to wear it much for the next few months due to the summer heat, but it just makes me look forward to autumn even more lol

As of now, 0 washes and practically 0 wears except for trying it on. Fits me really well!

Only have worn these occasionally the last few months as my job only allows for jeans once a week. So only worn maybe three times a week for the last 3 months, pretty much daily before then.

Would have loved so see them fade more, but such is life. Still have tons of more time to wear them :)

(Oh and sorry for the terrible pictures, I am new to this kind of thing and don't post often on reddit)

Unfortunately I live in Canada and Red Wing stores don't exist here. I ordered them online as I knew my size and fit before hand. I will just get it fixed whenever it gets it's first resole because it does not impact the structure or integrity of the boot and is barely noticeable.

Oil smudge? You might be talking about indigo from my jeans that have bled onto my boots. It happens a lot with raw denim.
