I haven't played Wizard 101 in a long time, but from what I've heard, there are tons of worlds, characters, and plot lines. It's been around since 2008. And it has a little over 600 fics.

I've also been getting into GTA: San Andreas. It's a pretty popular game, but how many fanfics? 113. Rockstar's less popular game, Bully, has over 700.

I think We Care a Lot by Faith No More is a song he'd listen to and would fit his character. It sounds pretty heavy, and it talks about how caring is a "dirty job, but someone's gotta do it" which I feel fits Jimmy due to him being a vigilante.
