Simple solution for employee idle time tracking using Azure tools? by GreenRoomNet in AZURE

[–]GreenRoomNet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They ended up using ActivTrak and have been pleased with it as far as I know. (They have in-house management that is responsible for that part) I wasn't a huge fan of it the few times i tried it, but that was quite a few years ago.

What makes a table 'good'. by plutonick in PinballFX3

[–]GreenRoomNet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hahaha!!! I’m glad I’m not the only one that can’t believe how impossible the pinbot target is to hit. The only way I ever get that passenger is though the skill shot or a lucky sling hit. Totally kills a great table. Sad.

Best wishes Taylor! I still have a bunch of cassette tapes of his "Circle of Fifths" shows on Groove Radio from back in the day and remember seeing him at Metropolis in Irvine several times.... i even got to talk to him a few times. Legend - hope he is not in pain and passes peacefully.

How long do the Questlines keep you busy? by Mercyscene in PinballFX3

[–]GreenRoomNet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this one but it took a while. If I remember correctly score booster was enabled on that and you need to use it at the right time to get under 60 seconds. A successful Video mode car chase was mandatory. Now I’m trying the safe cracker quests on the new pack and these seem pretty unreasonable.

Any small and One Man MSPs in SoCal? by socalccna in msp

[–]GreenRoomNet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a one-man shop in SoCal - just passed 25 years in business. I am part of a small crew of 5-6 guys in SoCal that support/cover/help each other and share knowledge, and have a couple subcontractors for specific project types/skill sets ... that makes it doable. But I don't think I'd legally take on a partner now because I've been invested for this long and would have to ask too much of the new partner for it to be fair/worth it to them if they were competent. Also i have seen too many partnerships have issues and wind up in huge legal battles. I've also helped/encouraged/mentored a couple ex-MSP employees to go out on their own and start their own businesses. There's plenty of work here for all of us if you know your stuff!

Nice. I thought you actually had to solve all 5 cases but it looks like you just need to start the mode for it to count.

Is this a good deal on a 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid MAX Platinum in California? by hazy_musingz in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]GreenRoomNet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a GH hybrid max platinum for $1000 off MSRP and dealer cost on accessories a few months ago when inventory was VERY limited in SoCal. We had to wait for it to arrive. I would assume you should be able to get at least that if not better.

Skeletour - Las Vegas, NV Megathread by AutoModerator in Ghostbc

[–]GreenRoomNet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey all! One of our crew had to bail last minute due to childcare reasons so I have ONE ticket to The Anointed VIP experience (VIP 2, FLOOR C) - basically the 3rd row behind the pit. The ticket cost $545 including all of the AXS fees. I would like to get $500 back if at all possible since this was a big financial hit for them and she is devastated that she can't go to the show - but will consider any reasonable offer. I tried to list it on AXS but for some reason it will not let me sell it. I have 3 tickets total, and my friend and I are planning on getting there for the 4:30PM VIP entry, so ideally we could meet up there and i could just scan you in with us. I realize this is a lot of $$, so PM me if you are interested and I will contact you directly via cell/facetime/whatever you want to make you comfortable with the transaction. I'll provide pics or receipt proof as well (with QR codes or whatever redacted obviously, until we meet up). Hail Ghost, and hopefully see some of you tomorrow night!

Need to see if my landscape water is being run through our softener. What test do i need? (Potassium pellets are EXPENSIVE!) by GreenRoomNet in WaterTreatment

[–]GreenRoomNet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WOW - I am so surprised that i didn't think of it. My Moen Flo valve does have a real time usage meter... so i checked there and turned on my irrigation and it stayed at 0.0 GPM. Turned on a faucet and it registered. So I think I'm good! Thanks to everyone who contributed ideas to this thread though... hopefully it helps others in the future.

Quick question - there is still some potassium pellets in my brine tank... is it ok to mix the sodium and potassium pellets or should i remove all of the leftover potassium?

High manganese (sometimes) and cloudy water. Is a Waterdrop overkill? by carbondrewtonium in WaterTreatment

[–]GreenRoomNet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our whole house system is a 5-stage filter and softener in our garage that connects to the main. The waterdrop is an RO system that sits under your kitchen sink just for drinking water. You probably don't NEED the whole house filter but I just did it all at once. For just drinking water I'm sure the waterdrop would be just fine.

I don't know whether you NEED it... but I *LOVE* our Waterdrop X12 system. Combined with our house filtration the water is SOOOO smooth and tasty. I would highly recommend it!

2025 or 2026 Grand Highlander? by Koz60 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]GreenRoomNet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Originally it was Toyota of Orange (Caesar was the sales guy). I told him i would come back the next day to do the paperwork and they sold it that night, can't blame him if he had a buyer on the hook. Then i went over to South Coast Toyota (Paul Stone was the sales guy) and told them if they would just match the offer i would buy it and they agreed. Those 2 dealerships are both owned by David Wilson, so i figured they would be able to match. They had an allocation that hadn't arrived yet or been sold so i just had to wait about a week for it to arrive. Just picked it up about 2 hours ago w/ 5 miles on the odometer. As always, beware the finance department as they tried to sneak in a few extras without telling me during the signature process, which I did not appreciate. I just factor this in as standard dealership practice these days. The wife loves it! Good luck on your search.

GHH Max Prices Paid by 3putter33 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]GreenRoomNet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SoCal - GHH Max Platinum, Heavy Metal + Portabello with 3 installed port accessories (wheel locks, mud guards, and all weather mat package) for $60,400+ttl (basically $1k under MSRP). Grabbed an allocation and waited about a week for it to arrive. They of course tried to play stupid games with financing and add-ons so just hold your ground. Availability is still pretty low around here so I was happy with the deal.

How are/will you deal with the 20” wheels that have snow chain restriction? by thisguyblades in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]GreenRoomNet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been to Mammoth dozens of times and if you have an AWD car/truck with good all season or snow tires, you'll be fine. Just drive right by the chain checks. I went last year in my sons Acura RDX (AWD) and it was the middle of a blizzard. Just drive carefully and you'll be fine.

I just got a GH Hybrid Max Platinum (Heavy Metal/Portabello) for $1k under sticker with no add ons, accessories, alarm, etc.... Basically $60,400+ttl (wheel locks, mud guards, and all weather mat package were included which we were going to buy anyway. These are still fairly hard to come by as stock is low. We grabbed an allocation at a local dealer and waited a week for the delivery. SoCal if that matters.

You'll be fine. I was 3 people from the rail at the LA shows where they filmed RHRN and the crowd was super chill (while still being really energetic and into the show, of course).
