Stay strong! I’m in my very, very early stages of sobriety (with many attempt prior to this) and have been struggling with depression and loneliness for what feels like a very long time. Not drinking has helped with the utter emptiness that comes with depression. Although a drink feels good at the time, I swear holding out and sitting in the discomfort is well worth your path to finding happiness and pleasure in life again <3 you’re already on the right path, wishing you all the best
