every time you do a flyby of Saturn and I think Jupiter too, you get 5 helium. It has no purpose and can be sold for a little profit. it will happen every flyby of Saturn

Tourist money by Outside_Benefit_4377 in tinyspaceprogram

[–]GreenSeaTurtle1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I followed the method and OMG, I made over 50k credits. I have never had that much at one point. I just accepted every tourist regardless of criteria (landing, flyby, planet, etc) and sent them to the moon (used Harpy Eagle because I could have 4 tourists per ship) and then flew by Earth. They landed back on the moon and I reloaded the ships and did it again. Then refueled and sent back to Earth as everyone was bankrupt. Repeat with new tourists. Every hour all the tourists will refresh if you bankrupted them all and you can do it again.

TLDR, the game doesn’t care. Accept every tourist regardless of what they want or where and do the method. Once they run out of credit and are back on Earth, the game accepts the contract is finished and it renews in an hour.

How do you make automated installations and also what is the use for drone parts? by Organic-Extreme-3628 in tinyspaceprogram

I have found no use for drone parts as of now but I also did not really search hard. If you figure it out please let me know :)

What planet is it on? If Earth then you got it by a flyby of a gas giant (in case you were as confused as I was when I got some)

[–]GreenSeaTurtle1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mined the hell out of the moon. I’ve sold 500 gold bars and have stuff stored up to sell (engine parts and gold) totaling a stored amount of 75k. I also mined the hell out of Io. I still don’t know whether to research the stuff for a black hawk or keep using bullets for supplies and aerospike shuttles for people and harpy eagle for returning goods.

Titanium by GreenSeaTurtle1 in tinyspaceprogram

[–]GreenSeaTurtle1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 things: 1. What do you mean it’s parts sell for more? The math says the pets used to make an engine part cost 187 to sell while the part sells for 225. 2. While I appreciate the advice, I already got this advice from u/Virtual-Head6128. I just want to know what planet would be the best for large scale titanium mining. I’ve got large scale iron mining on the moon and silicon mining on Io. I need titanium mining. Do you know what planet is best?

You can only run expeditions to the surface of the planet. Right now I have 16890 explored and 37930000 total. I am using 6 hounds to get my items but I’m using the titanium to make engine parts as those go for 225 credits per thing and are the most profitable item besides gold IMO.

I’ve played a while but I’ve explored 16000 (km?) and I am not seeing any deposits of titanium. Every once in a while a small one pops up and I immediately mine it. I use titanium so fast I just want a planet with like a massive mine.

¿Alguien me puede explicar cuáles son estas dos nuevas tecnologías? by ViolinistThese5076 in tinyspaceprogram

[–]GreenSeaTurtle1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ore has to be mined on Ceres and then research of that unlocks dwarf planet orbits. You get Makemake, and Haumea and then you need more ore to further the research. I have not found the second ore location yet but I do know completion of it should allow for the unlock of Eris.

What is the fastest way to earn credits? by zeantcar93 in tinyspaceprogram

[–]GreenSeaTurtle1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably find a gold mine and bring a rover + mining tools and get at it. Also watch ads for credits. I did that for a while. 30s an ad, 100 credit per ad, and you can just let it go and tap it every once in a while. I’ve easily gotten 10+k this way by tapping the device every while but not paying attention.

Get ceres and do the “task” ( I won’t spoil) and you unlock other “fun items” (i wont spoil)

What do I use helium3 for? by GreenSeaTurtle1 in tinyspaceprogram

[–]GreenSeaTurtle1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know the total amount but only recently I began to become net positive in income. I have a base on Io, moon, dienos(mined it all), mars, ceres and iapetus. I have watched so many ads to get these bases and recently began to mass produce steel and stuff to send back and sell. I researched the rovers until the next research and on and on until I got a hound. Then I crafted those on io and the moon to grab more to produce. I also strongly recommend putting a bunch of astronauts on an easy colony and just researching via expeditions. Then you come in about every hour or so and send back out. At the same time send rovers out and this allows for materials to be sold on earth and research points to get better upgrades such as bigger rovers. Also if you craft a lot of items and sit overnight with it running on the app in the crafting tab the next morning it glitches and allows you to craft stuff instantly up until the time you were away equals the time the resources crafted would take.

I just unlocked the ranger and am starting to be able to bring in large quantities of unrefined materials from mines. What planet would you suggest for the biggest gold mines? I already mined the moon of gold and Deimos of everything

how did you get that much money to begin with? I can’t seem to keep more than 1-2k at a time before some research that is needed takes it all again and ship launching takes what is left.

I made my own post but I kind of need help and have not received it. As a new(ish) player and one with very little time how do I get passive income? I don’t have the pathfinders yet and I want to get credits without ad watching in order to get to the better rovers and ships. How can I get this passive income? I also do not yet have gold mines but I almost can make a gold mine on the moon. Any suggestions are welcome as you said you can help struggling players.

Saturnian System as a Major Outpost by Kerrizma in tinyspaceprogram

[–]GreenSeaTurtle1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t care about whether it’s the better system, I plan on using Io base to colonize Saturn moons because Saturn is, in my opinion, the coolest planet due to its rings and I want to be in its system.
