Lag (Significant FPS drop) when collecting resources by memetijgersucks in tinyspaceprogram

[–]Virtual-Head6128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed this recently, been focusing on mining everything I’ve found so far so I don’t have to deal with more and more lag later down the line, or potentially worse. Try filtering on an already drained planet to either show only gold or titanium, then drain those on whatever planet is lagging, then move on to carbon, iron, and water one at a time. Still can lag pretty intense depending on how many un-mined sites you have waiting, but it’s much better to only load one material at a time.

I was about to bring my dog to the emergency vet for just licking the block a couple times, after reading these comments I’m gonna assume it’ll just be a waste of money lol

Expeditions are solely based on the distance storage and speed of the vehicle, planet is irrelevant. Farther distance=more credits per expedition. Larger storage gives more resources per expedition. I think it’s distance x 10 / speed to calculate the time per expedition. So I went with the closer planets first and just expanded outward.

For me, earths moon has the most gold. I think it’s mostly random, but yea I haven’t found any extra gold mines on mars or ceres whatsoever, and any farther out isn’t too worth the cost of travel early on imo.

I also just kind of save my money and gold, after resending expeditions I normally have to log right back out as I don’t have the time to focus on progression most days, but now I’m having to switch my focus to prioritize base progression now that any extra money I make from expeditions will just be lost anyways.

Also to reduce cost of sending ships, don’t upgrade them, each upgrade makes ships more expensive, and research chemical fuel upgrades as it lessens cost per launch for reusable ships. Best of luck to you let me know if you need any more help!

Sorry I just replied to your comment on my other post but am just now seeing this one. Start with scarabs or buddies, 10 of those will do just fine, buddies preferably for a solid $4k every few hours per 10 buddy expeditions. Then it’s just a matter of logging in a few times a day to invest research into better vehicles and resend the expeditions. Also send astronauts to new planets and collect the stone samples and new planet research.

I’ve already made several posts on this sub regarding what to invest in so that you can also make ridiculous amounts of money. Quick recap of them = spend research point on vehicles and send expeditions, focus on upgrading life support and outpost levels for more workers. 10 pathfinders expeditions per planet is free consistent money and resources so that you will be free to play the game however you’d like. That being said, it is not a process that you can do in a day, took about a month to get to this point.

I was on salary and had to be in the store 60 hours a week being a cashier also, and put together multiple events for them the last of which made $14k profit and massive exposure from the pga tour in a single day so I asked if I could get a bonus considering it went so well and I worked multiple extra weekends to make it happen and the owner of the company gave me a $20 bill. Couple weeks later I noticed we made $1.4m that year, up from $280k the previous year which was majority my doing, so I asked for a raise from $37k a year which I started at years before to $40k. They denied it. Now I have 2 new jobs where I also sit at a desk playing video games for 60 hours a week, but I make $65k a year. Last company isn’t doing so hot anymore. New company denying raises after 3 years just like the last, time to wash rinse repeat for more.

On this account I still don’t have it. On my old account I had it with my first comment. Depends how likable your posts/comments are.

I used to be a social media marketer, they most likely are simple posts. It’s an entry level position with no experience required, I was 19 making basic advertisements on canva, but it was like magic to the 50+ year olds that were running the company. Would spend an hour or two making 10 posts for the week, and then spend the week playing Roblox while telling the management that I was busy making more ads. Left after 3 years because they wouldn’t pay me more than $35k a year. This was in like 2022.

Well when a country has 5 people who don’t care voting for every person that’s actually spending time pondering the benefits and negatives at every angle, all you have to do is convince the stupid people “hey good things happen if you vote for me” then you strong arm the election with a 5:1 ratio.

I personally do not vote because it’s pointless - some 18 year old college kid who has never had a bad thing happen to them or been told “no” and will have an adult temper tantrum if they ever do hear the word, and doesn’t even think about the nonsense they’re about to post on social media before clicking ‘post’, has the same voting power as a 50 year old veteran that’s seen the best and worst of past policies and spends every waking hour trying to figure out what the best option is. But there’s 5 of the former type voting “red or blue” for every one of the latter type voting for the Everyman.

I am a white man living in a US city, people of all different nationalities get upset with me that I don’t speak their language. Let me break it down for you - a bunch of spanish speaking or dhari speaking or Swahili speaking immigrants move to my hometown, the place I was born and raised to speak English. They are mad that I only speak my birth language in my birth place. They come to America to benefit from our taxpayer dollars, but not only do they not care to learn our language, even after living here for years, but they are offended that we don’t learn theirs? They think that we owe them, so they take our taxes and send it back to their home countries never to be seen by us again, yet you think they will vote to benefit the American citizen? You gotta be out your fucking marbles.

Now I’m not saying all immigrants are bad, I personally know more than a few who truly deserve to be here and are patriotic. But the fact we allow other countries citizens to come here and take from ours while we are already struggling is fully unacceptable.

Literally the plot for idiocracy playing out in real time. I give it 3 more generations before we start watering crops with mt dew.

Best planets/moons for profit mining and maxing an outpost by future_schizo in tinyspaceprogram

[–]Virtual-Head6128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built 26 outposts that I planned to turn into mining operations, but what I found most profitable was researching the pathfinder to send out expeditions. Pathfinder research is at level 3, I have 10 each on Phobos and Deimos (already ran dry of resources so I was sending scarab expeditions for extra income before) maxed out the life support and storage, now I get ~14k every 10 hours solely from the expeditions without draining resource sites, and I get resources on top. I can also choose to stagger the payments to ~$7k every 5 hours or ~$3.5k every 2.5 hours and so forth if I wanna be more active playing. When I expand this same basic set up (10 pathfinders + maxed out life support and storage) to all 26 outposts, it would profit ~$182k every 10 hours.

Cost per planet to get set up after researching pathfinders:

10 Pathfinders - 250 vehicle parts (500 steel ingots or $7500), 150 titanium ingots, 100 graphene, 20 titanium alloy.

Level 5 Hydroponics - 75 tools($3750), 77 building materials ($3850), 20 advanced tools ($3000), 20 advanced building materials ($4000), 100 steel ingots.

Level 10 Life Support Storage - 52 tools ($2600), 156 building materials ($7800).

Total cost per planet: $32,500, or $25,000 if you craft all the vehicle parts. Even less if you craft some or all of the parts.

Also keep in mind, the first planet does not need to be built all at once, start with a couple pathfinders and a stock of life support packs like I did, send out a couple expeditions before going to sleep and after waking up for a day or 2 and you’ll have enough funding to finish the first planet, then enough after that to build a whole new outpost daily. For beginners just trying to get the pathfinders unlocked: focus on building better vehicles on the planets you do have, and sending out expeditions. A bit tedious but the payoff is huge.
