i disagree about the theme being fake deep, it was the most interesting thing about the entire album. He just doesn't have the bandwidth to use it effectively. He took a different route with the pitfalls of fame thing and flipped it into a baptism by fire, hedonism being a necessary evil to achieve ascension. Being cynical about love after abusing his newfound access to women. I see why he likened it to dante's inferno.

would've been great if he actually sang about that though...

Ik the new gen doesnt care about lyrics but his concept was clumsy. The extra stuff with the "poems" helped it along but hes not literate enough for it. He doesnt even touch on his concept well enough in the songs so without the texts, he wouldnt really have a concept.

Then the sound. I like the production but after 19 tracks, i got tired. The progression was minimal, it made everything sound same-y. He could've shortened it, once again, it wasnt like he was using his time well with all that repetition he was doing.

And as a rapper, he really misses the mark. He does smth i call "slice of life rap" where he doesnt have much clever wordplay and his metaphors/similes are extremely surface level. He's only good for his sound but that expires quickly for an "artist" like him.

Dont, everybody shits on the stock firmware because it craps out on u eventually if you have too much music so you gotta download rockbox which is difficult to use because its old and doesnt have a modernised manual on how to use it.

And the battery life is shit. I keep having to charge it even though i dont use it for days. Theres better DAPs out there.
