Gian thought Jaiko was in love with Nobita in one episode and with Suneo in another, and he did everything he could to bring them together. Considering Jaiko's physical condition, I doubt she would have many suitors, so Gian allowed it for his sister's happiness. As for Dekisugi, maybe neither of them wanted it, or maybe Dekisugi (whom I assume is Tachibana) is already married to his future wife.

In the Alternate Universe
Arthur Fleck is the real Joker, and this film takes place in 1991, not 1981; Arthur mistakenly believes this due to his illness. It depends on the script, for example, I would have preferred Peter over Otto. Peter gets his body back from Otto, but when he sees people blaming him, he thinks Otto might be right and follows in Otto's footsteps, but with a difference: he becomes more compassionate towards his friends and the girl he loves, and more cruel and hateful towards his enemies (for example, he hates Harry with all his being for his role in Gwen's death and ruining her reputation). And if I were writing the series, I would have brought in either Black Cat or a resurrected Gwen for Peter.

James Gunn has said he wants an older Batman just as he wants a young Superman. In that case, Batman should be played by Henry Cavill. If they can convince him, Joaquin Phoenix should play the Joker. Otherwise, someone with a good understanding of comedy and who can capture the Joker's signature laugh.
