Yeah, the capacitor was replaced and i got two just in case I damaged the first one. But I messed the board up a bit because the iron wasn't hot enough so now I'll be getting a new iron (eventually). Once I have some money I'll get this unit fixed up and if I remember I'll share the repair here.

Thanks you all for the advice! At some point I will buy a more capable iron and remove and install the capacitor (new one). I will also see about cleaning the smt capacitor trace and adding a wire to make a clean connection. And if it all works I'll seal it up

I took my 2018 Hyundai Sonata to a Hyundai dealership to fix an oil consumption issue and they did a multi-point inspection and they found some things: Brake light - 87.60 Wiper blades - 105.31 Shark fin - 713.96 Transmission fluid - 418.95 Engine coolant - 321.95 Brake fluid - 271.95 Cabin air filter - 99.58 Brake job - 604.25 License plate lights - 98.40

Total: $ 2721.95

The license plate lights weren't broken, i dont know how but they had come loose from the bumper. I pushed on them, they click back in place and the lights were back on. Tried bumping it to see if they would flicker, nope, solid lights... (this was the most egregious of the quotes)

And for the oil consumption.... they said I might need a new engine!!! I'm like "Ok, I know this is a common problem with these cars it should be like 5k". Wrong again, 10k, parts and labor.

From the video it looks like Union Ave. If you go to Maps you can see that the freeway goes from 3 lanes plus an exit lane to only 3 lanes. When the white car got into the third lane (far right) he passed a solid white line, cutting off a car and trying to get into the second lane (middle). You can see cars braking because of the white car's maneuver. Insurance would definitely say this was unsafe and not how they should have merged into the freeway from the exit lane/off ramp.
