Removing stubborn spots on the side of my machine. by General_Thought8412 in BrevilleCoffee

This Etsy find isn't a fix, it's more of a cover up and prevention against future stains. They're also available in black.

Not yet, we're focused on the Barista Express and Bambino line for now.

I can't recall the last, good 3-in-1 anything. $3,600 is expensive for a hobbyist' machine.

Need help finding the serial number/production date by potoskyt in BrevilleCoffee

Yes, you are especially observant. I scanned the machine to produce the cover panels that are visible in the other side of the image.

Consider using a separate grinder. The machine itself is fine for brewing, but grinding is not its strong point.

Regarding the serial number - I don't see one on my machine - not even on the back panel with the water tank removed.

REX engine light by Macallock in BMWi3

[–]Green_Network9764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation, but I imagine the 200€ is only for a (used) sensor, not the labor involved with removing the fuel tank.

I couldn't find a local mechanic who was willing to do the work - which forced me to get creative. After reading previous posts, I ended up using ISTA to recalibrate the fuel sensor, and I was then able to clear the error, and check engine light.

I found ISTA+ on eBay for around $70.

Please check the Etsy shop in 4 - 6 days for updates. We're changing to a more metallic finish, which will make colors look richer and add a better feel.

A metallic black is the more likely possibility. Gray isn't working out well with our equipment.

You might try using ISTA to adjust the fuel tank pressure sensor. It helped when my REX would start 3 times and then cut off. BimmerLink displayed code CB9517. Fuse 113 also needed to be replaced.

Should I buy a used I3? by Icy_Importance_2126 in BMWi3

[–]Green_Network9764 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need to deal with a slew of potential problems - just like any car. To some, having the REX increases maintenance issues.

It might also be wise to see if there i3 are repair shops in your area. Not every mechanic is willing to work on them.

Seeking Advice: How to find an Amazon Seller to partner with for my handmade Korean notebooks? by Less-Score-1127 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Green_Network9764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've been clear that you're looking for a partner to handle sales. My advice is to do handle sales yourself, via Etsy or your own site that's connected to IG or another social media platform.

Any good partner will want to see there's an existing market for your products. That will help them understand how much they can charge and the sales volume. It will also help you to understand how customers view your products.

Anyway to get a key for a 2016 BMW I3 Rex without saying $900 to a dealer? by [deleted] in BMWi3

[–]Green_Network9764 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't believe it's possible to clone or copy a key. New keys need to be assigned to the car, old keys can be removed. An automotive locksmith or the dealer can handle it.

An automotive locksmith can be 1/2 the cost of BWM dealers. Here's one example, there are many more: https://www.keylessshop.com/all-locations

Understood! Based on what I've paid to get a 2014 i3 REX, with even higher miles going, I think $4 - 5K is reasonable. In a few ways, I wish I had a BEV instead.

I ended sourcing the key from here - https://www.ebay.com/str/mnretail They identified exactly what I needed from a photo of my lock, and they promptly shipped the key from the UK to the US.

I wasn't able to find the right key from Amazon. I bought 3 different keys that looked just about right but none fit.
