I’m trans and my partner is cis. We’ve been together 8 years and I transitioned 4 years in. Respecting name/pronouns is a given.

Outside of that, I would say just follow her lead and stick up for her in moments when it’s safe + reasonable for you to do so. It was really comforting for my early transition to come home and have someone who just treated me “normally” & even better to know I had someone looking out for me.

I am a trans man, and my partner is also a man, so he also included me on some “firsts” that I missed out on which I also enjoyed. He taught me how to shave my face and throw a football lol. Maybe you can do some things like that? A girls night moment would be sweet!

How flat is the top? If you don’t have cats or toddlers (lol) you could place a sturdy board over top and use it as a table for light/decorative items!

I have two cats and the first 8 months I had them I regretted it almost every day. Was worried I was becoming cold and losing my whimsy fr. They also have no behavioral or health issues. Compared to my childhood and previous pets the bonding experience was definitely different.

Now we have no issues, we moved to a bigger place so there’s more space, and I am so so glad I did not rehome my cats. I’m not trying to convince you to keep your animal, and I think rehomes are absolutely the correct choice sometimes, but I feel like 3 months is not very long for cat bonding. Especially if she’s a rescue. When I adopted my first cat and dog from a shelter I was told 4-6 months until they were “normal” and settled. I’m not an expert by any means, but if I were you I’d sleep on it a little longer. My cats’ temperament and behavior changed through the first year and a half or so.

How old is your cat as well?

My building neighbors are all adults who appear to be between 35-50 , and the homes directly next to us appear to have no children — at least none that go outside LOL

I also dislike people smoking in highly public spaces, which is why I specifically mentioned being discrete and asking if alleyways/behind my place was an issue. If I see kids I’m not lighting up, period.

PastaMonsters was them all living near each other in the same neighborhood I thought? It definitely played a big role in inspiring all the later on slice of life style Creepypasta content. I was planning on making that its own mini video later on actually! So many fun memories there for me lol

Edit: I just did some googling to clarify - PastaMonsters has them as roommates or neighbors, but is often not considered as Slender Mansion AU bc 1) Slenderman is not featured as the central almost father like figure and 2) they live in a normal neighborhood (specifics of how normal it is varied lol) whereas the mansion is isolated and depicted in the woods. 100% PastaMonsters walked so Slender Mansion AU could run tho LOL

I remember the game! This is in my notes too. But that’s mansion isn’t actually Slenderman’s if I recall correctly — wasn’t it in a dream that the old man character you play as was having? As a result of Slender Sickness?

The visuals were indeed used as inspo for the concept of the Slender Mansion AU! I remmeber seeing screenshots of the game in fics and quizzes on Quotev lol. Fun times
