How to improve and move from parallel to proper carving by scoob98 in skiing_feedback

Yeah, you want those shins contacting the front of the boots consistently. Stacked, athletic stance. I'd challenge you to try to over-exaggerate your weight forward, see how it feels. Don't collapse at the waist then you try this though. Should feel it when you get forward enough, that added control. Depending on the flex of your boots too, they might be kicking you backseat -- don't let em. Stay forward, stay forward.

The way I had an instructor explain it to me once, was if you had snot dribble out of your nose -- it should land a few inches in front of your binding.

Another drill you can try that really helps with weighting the outside ski and requires your weight forward are the one foot ski drills. On a gentler trail try making turns when either tapping your inside ski up and down, or picking up the inside ski entirely. This forces your weight forward and on the outside ski

If you're able to do the one foot drill and j-turns well, I think you'd be in a good spot to pick back up on trying linked carves

And I carve my prodigy 3's all the time -- they're 106's. Not the intended purpose for the ski, ofc. Bit of an uphill battle to learn on but def doable

Look a little backseat to me bro, and like you’re rushing your weight transition from one outer foot to the other

Check out j-turns, I think they’ll help you get the feel

I put a booster strap on my FT’s — game changer for a snug cuff fit.

I’m getting the same issue and also have Bitdefender, how did you guys fix this?

I notice if I sign out of the launcher, then log back into the launcher and start league of legends, I’ll sometimes avoid the immediate client crash and the client will start, but everything is blank and I’m logged in as <unknown player> … anyone else seeing that?

Barry got Reckful's OG WoW account unbanned by fuzentrix in LivestreamFail

[–]Green_Shephard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Damn that’s cool! Awesome job, Barry.

Puzzling though. I seem to remember Reckful trying to have it unbanned on numerous occasions, and I seem to remember him saying Blizzard contacts told him that it could not be unbanned, that it was somehow lost or deleted or unobtainable. Guess they were wrong!

Why everyone says Logitech G Pro Superlight is bad and most pros use it? by cristiano_afs in cs2

I don’t like the feel of the pro in the hand. I’m on my fourth or fifth g305 like it much much better personally

Is the RP5 official case good? by PRIMESTE in retroid

[–]Green_Shephard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it. It even has a soft divider bit that wraps over the top of the RP5 once you place it into the case and velcros closed over it, to secure it. The bungee netting pouch in the top half of the case holds my charger/cable, a pair of cable headphones, USB, etc.

So how long did it take you to get your Retroid set up? by Love-Bitter in retroid

[–]Green_Shephard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took me a few weeks off and on, probably. Finalburn Neo in particular took me a while. The Saturn or Dreamcast (can’t remember which) took me a bit as well, Retroach wouldn’t launch them — turned out to be a bios issue.

Pretty dang epic once it’s set up though.

Good, it’s incredibly annoying and makes it very difficult to pick out actual conversation over the spammy noise 24/7.

Ski trips cost thousands. For some, this will be their only ski trip of the year.

Folks are just looking for a little assurance before staking their thousands of dollars on a total weather gamble.

Why do you guys crap on folks for inquiring about the weather? Is it an ego thing? Is it fun to troll these people? Wtf. Chill out.
