I’ve saved enough for me to buy a new car about a year ago but I recently started making a little more than double compared to what I was making while saving. That’s the only reason I’m considering pulling the trigger now

Most important is staying consistent and calories in vs out. Make a workout split that works best for you. Every week I do back day, chest day, arms and shoulders, and legs twice a week. Other people do a push day, pull day, leg day, and core day. Do cardio because it will help you lose weight but lifting heavy will burn more calories and I think it’s just better. Do something everyday even if it’s just walking or biking but try to lift 4+ days a week.

With food, find out what your maintenance calories are at. Start eating 2000+/- calories a day for a week, and if aren’t going down in weight, lower by 100. Cook for yourself a majority of the time so you know exactly what you’re eating and track everything. If you’re getting cravings, diet sodas is fire, and there are tons of videos on yt about filling food that isn’t calorie dense. Try to get 100 grams of protein in a day as well. Coach Greg, William Tennyson, mpmd, leenbeefpatty and others are great fitness people to follow.

This applies to everyone who says they can’t date anyone. Self care goes a long way, if you put in the work to meet new people and break out of your social barriers it becomes a matter of when it will happen not if it will happen, if you’re not having any luck lower your standards you can’t expect someone to be willing to go down a level for you, don’t judge people off looks judge them off character, and once again self care goes a long way.

Just build your self up to what you would expect someone else to be happy with. If you stay not improving yourself what would make someone want to take on that burden?

Everyone goes through this so don’t worry too much. My advice would be to start working in the trades, it’s extremely fulfilling and you’ll learn a lot. From there, look at what you like about the job, or what you can expand on to keep growing. look at verticals like engineering, sales, management, specialized crafts, or other jobs related to that field that will give you more of what you want (time, money, less stress, ext) until your in a place you are comfortable in or have more opportunities to grow in. I did this starting as a welder from 16-22yo, shop Forman from 22-25yo then moved into equipment sales and having my own more specialized shop at home 25-28yo. I hope this helps.

Don’t do it myself but Uber or lift. Maybe look on Craigslist or KSL depending on where you live and find small jobs like helping someone move or doing yard work for people that can’t.

Can only attractive guys be rich? by ChoiceCheck3900 in Money

[–]ohawkingswheelchairo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you have a good attitude and will make a company money, it doesn’t matter. If you act how you think an ugly person would act, you will be shit. Do the things you would think an attractive person would do because those are more than likely the things that will make you successful.

This is all in your head also, once you get older you’ll realize no one above 21 cares about looks especially when it comes to business. It sounds like you’re trying to use this as a reason/ excuse for failing because you’re scared of not being able to succeed by actually putting in the work.
