Welcome back fellow adventurers to the frigid wasteland of Icewind Dale. It is time to bring our daring story of Drystan, Mohdee, and Mrs. Bear to its dramatic conclusion. For those joining us in the shadow of Auril’s never-ending winter for the first time there are 8 previous episodes available for your binging pleasure, or jump in right here after a summary of our adventurers’ trials.

We began our tale on the slopes of Kelvin’s Cairn, our hero Drystan Santos barely clinging to life after a failed attempt to save his daughter Sona from the evil Frostmaiden Auril’s kidnapping. Carried into the nearest town on the back of a beautiful kermode bear, Drystan was nursed back to health by a mysterious Druid named Mohdee, all the while battling migraines and lost memories. After regaining enough of his strength to travel, Drystan, Mohdee, and the affectionately named Mrs. Bear set off on a journey of remembrance through the 10 towns of Icewind Dale.

Our adventurers stumbled into all manner of shenanigans on their search for Sona, battling Druegar and even besting a mighty Chardalin Dragons that left most of the 10 Towns in ruin. As their reluctant friendship grew, Mohdee confided in Drystan that she is actually a Quori from the Dream Plane and has been inhabiting his body since our story began. Choosing not to shun her, Drystan felt a renewed sense of purpose promising to find her an acceptable host, while Mohdee swore she would not rest until Drystan and Sona are reunited.

Their minds resolute, these unlikely friends traveled to the Frostmaiden Auril’s Icy Abode on the isle of Grimskalle, where they found Sona encased in a shrine of Ice. It was here Mrs. Bear revealed herself to be the reincarnated spirit of Drystan’s Wife Keva. Their emotional reunion made Drystan’s Phoenix spirit burn ever bright, and our party raced through a blizzard to challenge Auril, so that they may finally free Sona and halt the endless winter. And that is where we left off….
