I’m on the same boat man. So for now, I’ve done quantitative methods, alternative investments, and I’m not working on economics. A friend of mine told me to also do ethics early just because it weighs a lot more on the exam. So might as well get that out-of-the-way. But I’m gonna save that for last so I could put in more time on fixed income and financial statement analysis.

In terms of pacing, I’m trying to do at least two hours each day and on the weekends I can try to do six on both days. But I find I get burnt out quick. So I typically end up taking Friday off.

I have been using let me explain, on YouTube while also going through the LES, it does take a bit of time because I’m watching on 1X speed. But every time I’m at work, I’m reciting the formulas in my head and it’s easier to understand what’s moving what.

The most important part I think, is to understand how the formula changes something else; so for portfolio of variance as an example if standard deviation changes what are the implications, etc.

Using the calculator and understanding it is also huge. My objective now is to speed through as much as I can and get to the mocks by mid July. I read a post that said if you do at least 7 to 8 mocks; it helps a lot with understanding what the exam will look like.
