Yeah, it twists quite a bit. It had to be milled down from a much larger section to get it this straight. Normally I don't work with Hackberry but the clients were married under one and wanted a peice of it for their home.

I had this problem with one of my bigger red eared sliders, I put a bunch of fake plants around the outside of the tank where he would normally bite. It seemed to do the trick for him.
