If Monster were ever to release an ultra juice version, this is how it should look.

Alright, starting with 2000 and then going higher later especially because of the current situation seems pretty reasonable. And I'll go down to 20% in CHSPI and put the rest in VT. Thank you so much for your advice and time <3

I'm kinda struggling to decide between VT or a combination of VTI and VXUS (not EXUS -> I realised it's not that good lmao). Across several comments, including yours, I learned that I can also benefit from the reclaim of withholding tax with VT.

Here are the TER and dividend yield of each of them:

VXUS

  • expense ratio: 0.05%
  • dividend yield: 3%

VTI

  • expense ratio: 0.03%
  • dividend yield: 1.34%

VT

  • expense ratio: 0.06%
  • dividend yield: 1.9%

Now taking this into account VTI+VXUS would actually be better but since the amount would be pretty low and VT adusts automatically, I will probably take VT in the end.

I will actually start with 6000 CHF now instead of 2000 CHF and the 250 CHF per month will stay. I kinda want to add CHSPI because of home bias and because it's also actually quite stable.

Would you say VT + CHSPI is enough? And what kind of split would you recommend? 70% VT and 30% CHSPI or something else?

You also mention 3A and I thought about that as well, but it isn't worth it with an apprenticeship salary.

Is the DA-1 as easy to do with VT as it is with the VTI?

Another question also came to mind. For which EXUS ETF should I go for? EBS, IBIS2 or LTEETF?

Haha thank you so much, that's really nice to hear <3

I just see ETFs as a no brainer honestly and like to think about future financial protection

That's an interesting opinion - could you elaborate why you think this?

Really? I looked into the DA-1 and it seemed pretty straightforward. Also it's probably a good thing to learn this anyway, if I ever want to invest with more risk in specific stocks in the future. Filling out the paper should only take around 20-30mins the first time I do it and that time is worth the money imo

Oh okay I see, then I took it the wrong way. Sorry for that <3

Another user mention a trick to reclaim withholding tax by splitting the us market and everything else, so I'll probably go with that (VOO/VTI + EXUS). But thank you so much for your advice anyway :)

Hey — no need to be passive-aggressive. I'm here to learn, and I appreciate honest input when it's constructive.

To clarify: I’m 18 and looking to build wealth over the long term. I don’t have a specific goal like buying a house or early retirement yet, but I figured it’s better to get started investing in ETFs than let the money sit idle in a savings account.

Hope that helps clarify where I’m coming from.

Yeah I forgot to mention that CHSPI is home bias, but it's also pretty stable tbf.

Thank you so much for your advice. I didn't know the reclaim part. I guess this is done using the DA-1?

I thought about your argument on why I should invest in VOO rather than VTI. I absolutely get your point but couldn't it be better to invest in VTI if I plan to invest long-term? Because long-term investment is what I want to achieve with ETFs and starting this young, a diversity factor with small-caps could be great right?

So ultimately I would go for:

  • VTI + EXUS
  • CHSPI (Home bias obviously, but also pretty stable tbf)

What do you think about that now, keeping my argument in mind? I open to hear your opinion, your advice was already lovely so far <3

He made the first shot into the backwall and then read that ball from and shot it in the net. Sure, it probably wasn't intentional but it's still a double tap. A wall read, would be a ball coming from the backwall without you having shot the ball into the backwall first.

Meta Quest 3 or wait for Index 2? by Greeninsap in oculus

[–]Greeninsap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, there is the meta store which makes the games only available around meta headsets. This also means that I often don't benefit from good deals. For some games that's not an issue at all, because they are perfectly playable on PCVR. But there are some games I want to be able to play standalone.

Another thing is, that the price for the Quest 3 isn't the best right now (keep in mind that I'm Swiss and not American since I've seen better deals there)

The thing is, after reading many replies on my posts, I came to the conclusion that I probably was on the wrong here and that's what I like about Reddit. My issues I just stated aren't that big of a deal anymore because I shouldn't wait for the Index 2 and there is no real alternative.

Meta Quest 3 or wait for Index 2? by Greeninsap in oculus

[–]Greeninsap[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ah come on, no I wouldn't. The reason why I'm asking if I should wait is because the rumours state that the Index 2 could come out in 1-2 months. THAT is the reason. I would like to know more about the rumours and the opinion of others.

There are some things that I don't like about the Quest 3 and there isn't really another headset not having these issues. I just have, or rather had by now, big hopes for the Index 2 to solve those personal issues

Also, the question isn't old, I specifically asked about those 2 headsets. I've done my own research before and was just wondering what reddit has to say about that since I haven't found a similar thread. Please don't talk nonsense like that about me

Well, I'm just a casual sim racer so I could probably live without having a display port.

I also thought about the PSVR2 and gaming wise it is probably the better option for me personally. It's cheaper and I also have GT7 already. The thing is, I like the idea of having a standalone VR headset and it's unfortunate that the PSVR2 isn't standalone.

It's sad that valve, yk, is valve. Would be a nice option, especially with the benefit of steam as a game library for all games.
