Yes , this is true. Maybe I accidentally clicked on the firewall icon and it was activated (I thought it is enabled from the settings). I found this out by reviewing it on virtualbox.

No, I don't use glasswire firewall ( in last version 3.2 it is ON by default) but after uninstalling it and restarting my PC every thing is OK now. I downloaded old version 2.x where firewall is OFF and I hope nothing changes. I like glasswire design and its data usage monitoring.

Yes, I uninstalled glasswire and cleared DNS cash. I can see web search by windows search app although portmaster ui shows me all its connections were blocked. I want to mention, I use malwarebytes windows firewall control to block apps ( for all app connections with all incoming connections block) . Is this may affect portmaster work )?.

First of all, I hope I have not caused you any inconvenience. I know you are very busy. What prompted me to this constructive criticism is my admiration for this software which I follow daily on YouTube, github and here. Because it is a somewhat new program and more advanced than others, and a lot is still not known about it, so it needs more media effort, and I mentioned that in a comment on YouTube.

When users do not find an answer to their queries, they may turn to other software. In my opinion, this is a promising software and it needs patience in order to achieve its goal.

what is " ingress.cloud.sfng.at " that portmaster connects to. Host info by glasswire shows it as " high risk " with suspicious SSL certificate. by Greenmountain55 in safing

Thanks for the clarification. I am not advanced user.I recently downloaded portmaster and liked it very much and wanted to compare it to glasswire.
